The Company

Dynamic Search Solutions is working with a rapidly growing and market leading Service Provider, that delivers internet services and fibre throughout the UK. The business delivers high-speed internet services to professional UK businesses, with the goal of becoming an industry leader for fast-fibre in the United Kingdom.

Due to the businesses continued success and growth, they are looking for an NOC Team Lead to manage the NOC team, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering innovative solutions to a variety of networking problems when occasion demands.

 

The Role

As NOC Team Lead, you will be a key part of the business. You will focus on the management of a lively service desk and NOC team, whilst managing customer SLAs with an understanding of ITIL. The right person will have a background in technical support and delivery to customers, alongside being a recognised leader in a service provider environment.

 

NOC Team Lead Overview:

  • Manage a busy NOC Team being aware of and taking into account the variety in skill sets at various levels.
  • Be a key part in the growth of the businesses NOC capabilities.
  • Use your skills and experience to support and train the junior members of the team.
  • Work closely with customers to deliver service agreements, and discuss SLAs.
  • Have a strong technical background, with the ability to deliver support to customers across Cisco R&S.
  • Manage the training and development of your team with regular appraisals, one-to-ones and individual reviews; creating insights into employee development form your judgement.
  • Use your experience to identify the best talent as you interview and hire new members to the team.

 

Skills and Experience required for the NOC Team Lead:

  • 5 years’ experience working in an MSP or ISP environment.
  • Identifiable experience in working in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Cisco WAN background, strong understanding of BGP and OSPF.
  • Have worked at 3rd line or above.
  • Have customer liaising experience.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
