The Company

A fast growing, managed service provider and value-added reseller is looking to expand their Network Consulting team. They offer fully managed services, across Cloud, Infrastructure, Hyper Converged Infrastructures, and Enterprise Networks. With accreditations and partnerships across Cisco and Microsoft, they lead the way in managed service solutions.

The Role

As a Network Technical Consultant, you will champion the use of a variety of tech, ranging from but not limited to Cisco, Dell, VMware, Azure, SAN, and Wireless. You will work alongside the Sales and account teams in a Technical capacity, fixing, supporting, troubleshooting, and even designing solutions. The Technical Consultant will be the lead for Cisco Services, working closely with the vendor to develop their propositions and go to market strategy.

Network Technical Consultant Overview

• Deliver network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across Cisco and Dell Networking, Office 365, Virtual and Cloud Environments
• Speak directly with end user, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Advising customers on Microsoft and VMware’s latest products and services
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills / Experience required for the Network Technical Consultant

• MUST be UK based
• Minimum 3 years experience in working across Enterprise Environments
• Delivery of Enterprise Network, working with Cisco, Dell etc
• At least 1 years of experience in a managed service capacity, or a Commercial Consulting role
• Experience with Virtualisation and Hyper-Converged Infrastructures
• O365, Cloud and Virtual Environments exposure is a plus
• Cisco, Microsoft, Azure and/or VMware certifications
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
