Job Title – Network Support Engineer

Salary – £40,000 + Car allowance

Location – Remote (UK Based, North England) Regular site visits across the north of England

An opportunity for a Network Support Engineer has arisen to join an exciting MSP who hold partnerships with both Cisco and Fortinet. Well established for over 25 years, you will have exposure to the latest within software defined networks including Cisco ACI, SDWAN as well as next gen security solutions such as ISE and DNAC.

Offering flexible hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Network Support engineer who enjoys providing onsite support as well as remote support for customers. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to travel to customer sites across the north of England. You will however have a car allowance to support you in this.

The Role

As Network Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, providing support across a range of networking technologies within Cisco and Fortinet. You will support customers across mid to large scale enterprise networking environments using your experience with complex LAN, WLAN and Cisco DNA environments.

Network Support Engineer Overview:

• Support LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.
• Support LAN R&S, next gen security and Wireless solutions.
• Operational management across network and network security environments.
• Travelling to customer site to provide in-person support when necessary.

Skills and Experience required for the Network Support Engineer

• 3 years’ experience working in managed services.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE.
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation, installation, and configuration.
• Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNA certification.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own car essential.
