Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

Location: Hybrid/ Remote/ Home-based – Must be commutable to Swindon

The business offer remote and home-based working with occasional in-office working in their Swindon office.

Meaning you’ll be working with cutting-edge tech that will be a huge bonus to your career and progression. As well as have the support to earn certifications from partner vendors.

 

Network Support Engineer Role Overview

As Network Support Engineer you will be a key part of the team, split across leading troubleshooting, support, managed services and customer engagement management. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage ticket requests, troubleshoot major incidents, and resolve complex technical issues around enterprise networks and network security.
  • Support and troubleshoot of Cisco solutions, exposure to software defined networks would be beneficial.
  • Support and troubleshoot LAN and network security solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.

 

Skills and Experience required for the Network Support Engineer:

The business will actively support you to earn any new certifications that you choose to pursue. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3 years’ + experience working in managed services.
  • CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting Cisco LAN networks, WLAN, ISE, SDA and/or SDWAN solutions.
  • Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments.
  • Have customer liaising experience.
  • Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE would be beneficial.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
