Network Support Engineer Role

The Network Support Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering high level support, troubleshooting of issues and consultation of next gen solutions to mid enterprise clients. You will work with a variety of technologies from Cisco and Fortinet, including Networking, Next-Gen firewalls, and Software Defined Networks.

  • Support network solutions as part of the operational team across LAN and Network Security.
  • Speak directly with end user, specifying their needs and providing high tier support.
  • Project support.

 

Skills / Experience required for the Network Support Engineer:

The MSP is committed to your personal and professional development, and will give you the opportunities you need to take the next step in your career. The business does ask that you have:

  • MUST be UK based.
  • 5 years’ experience working in managed services.
  • 5 years’ experience in design documentation on large enterprise sites.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or any other Network Security.
  • Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNA and/or CCNP, NSE4 or equivalent.
  • Customer liaising experience.
  • Must be able to communicate and work efficiently with both technical and non-technical customers.
