A rapidly growing, market leading Service Provider, that delivers internet services and fibre throughout the UK is searching for a Network Support Analyst to join their Cheshire based business. The business delivers high-speed internet services to professional UK businesses, with the goal of becoming an industry leader for fast fibre in the United Kingdom.

Due to continued success and growth, the business is looking for a Network Support Analyst to join an excellent customer service support team. You will act as an escalation point for support calls for clients, acting as a leader and a voice of authority in the Support team. The business also offers hybrid and flexible working as standard to its team. They want you to work however is best for you.

 

Network Support Analyst Role Overview

As Network Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for customers looking for technical assistance and support via phone or email:

  • Technical resolution for end user Desktop and Network support and delivery of IT projects.
  • Creating and maintaining training guides to support the growth and expertise of the Support Team.
  • On-boarding any new technology and products and training the support teams on their use.
  • Work closely with the wider support team to maintain their effectiveness.
  • Overall manage the communication with customers regarding escalations and resolutions.

 

Skills and Experience required for the Network Support Analyst:

The business is committed to supporting your development and growth, and supporting you to work how is best for you. The business does ask that you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Support Desk role
  • CCNA certified or working towards your certification.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Previous experience of routing, switching, and IP addressing.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience working with Cisco and/or Juniper product technologies is key, ideally across a service provider environment.
