About the Network and Security Solutions Architect role

Acting as a Network Solutions Architect, you will be a key part of the organisation and presales team. You will focus on customer-facing Solutions Architecture and Presales, this includes tender responses and RFP/RFI work.

  • You will be working in a presales capacity, owning the technical contribution to RFI’s, RFP’s and Tenders
  • Work with the wider business to identify and prioritise opportunities
  • When a bid is won, you will hand it over with accurate documentation, including SoW and BOM’s
  • Work with the leadership team to develop business propositions within the enterprise network space
  • You will gain exposure to market-leading software-defined technologies including SD-WAN, SDN, and Nextgen firewalls

 

Skills & experience required for the Network and Security Solutions Architect

  • MUST be UK based
  • Strong documentation writing and the ability to articulate complex network solutions
  • 3 years + experience working in a customer-facing networking position either as a Senior Network Engineer or in a Presales capacity
  • Experienced across one or more of the following; Cisco, Juniper, LAN, WAN, Security, Wireless or Data Centre
  • CCIE, CCDP, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, or similar certifications would be beneficial
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
