Location: Remote with client visits

Salary: Up to £70,000

An exciting Professional Services company that focuses on working with medium to large enterprise sites all over the South of the UK, that works directly with Cisco and other core partners.

About the Network Security Engineer role

As the Network Security Engineer, you will work as part of their Professional Services team designing and implementing security solutions for their customer’s Networks. The Network Security Engineer will also manage all documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure SLA’s are met. At the same time, you will be continuing to learn and develop your skills with all the latest and greatest tech.

• Design and implement security solutions for customers networks
• Be a Cisco evangelist around all technology
• Liaise with customers, being their go-to for all security matters
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff as the key point of contact
• Ensure SLA’s are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place

Skills & experience required for the Network Security Engineer

• Must have a high level of understanding of Cisco Networks
• Have experience designing and implementing Cisco security solutions
• Be skilled in R+S, Cisco ISE and FirePOWER
• Have previous experience working in Professional Services
• Understand SLA agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
