Salary: £55,000 + package

A leading Cisco and Microsoft partner is seeking a Network Security Consultant. The company are fast growing, industry leading managed service provider delivering in to mid and large enterprise clients across the UK and Europe. They have a key focus on developing their staff by providing training, certifications and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Network Security Consultant Roles & Responsibilities

The Network Security Consultant will be a key part of the team, split across leading project delivery, designs and stakeholder management. The right person will deliver planning of mid to large scale enterprise networking environments, working across project deployments, including design and implementation across complex Next-Gen Firewalls, LAN, and WLAN.

• Pre-Sales customer consultation, discussing needs and wants, and providing Bill of materials and Scope of Work
• Design Cisco Security solutions, exposure to multiple Cisco solutions is ideal
• Design LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team

Skills & Experience

• 3 years’ + experience working in managed services and professional service environments
• CCNP certification is imperative
• Customer facing background, whether it is pre-sales or consultation
• Demonstrable experience in delivering Cisco ASA, and FirePOWER solutions including FTD and FMC
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments
• Delivered large scale projects
• Have customer liaising experience
• Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE would be beneficial
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customer
