A Managed Service Provider is seeking a Network Field Engineer to work in the field on multiple customer sites across London. The Role

The role of Network Field Engineer reports to the Field Services Manager and is key to supporting the Manage Service Provider’s client throughout London. You will assist in delivering first and second fix installations of Networking and servers for their customers across London. This role involves you liaising with the coordinators and managing your own diary to deliver installations and commissioning to the highest specification and by the agreed deadlines.

Network Field Engineer Overview

• Liaise with customers to adhere to SLA Agreements
• Install Servers, Switches, and firewalls
• Carrying out patching and cable management
• Work to the highest standard
• Your key focus is to provide a fast and professional response turning business problems into business solutions
• You will work in multiple environments around the City

Skills / Experience required for the Network Field Engineer

• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Good working knowledge of Networks and servers
• An understanding of cabling
• Be willing to travel to multiple sites
• Have the Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Well Organised, with good attention to detail
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
• Heavy lifting may be involved
