The Company

A growing fibre provider in Harrogate are recruiting a Network Field Engineer to be involved in the rolling out of brand new full-fiber networks in the Harrogate area. As such you will be working with the very latest of fiber technologies.

As the Network Field Engineer, you will be a key part of the field team having a keen focus on designing and installing networks in the area. You will report directly to the Field Manager and be the focal point for any customer queries. The position comes with your own personal van, mobile, and laptop, as well as a generous healthcare package.

 

Network Field Engineer Overview:

  • Your key focus is to manage your own desk
  • Focus on designing and installing new networks for the area
  • You will respond to faults, and travel to multiple sites daily
  • Act as an escalation point
  • Liaise with other members of the team daily

 

Skills / Experience required for the Network Field Engineer:

As a Network Field Engineer, you will have a good understanding of fibre networks, be comfortable traveling to multiple sites, have an eagerness to learn, and a passion for technology.

  • Previous Fibre or ISP experience
  • You must have experience in designing, building, and deploying networks
  • Have experience with Passive Optical Networks (PON)
  • Experience working with Active components / Outside plants, Street Cabinets
  • Must have a clean UK driving licence
