The Company

A multi-award-winning Cisco Gold Partner is seeking a Network Engineer to work for out of Network Engineer their easily accessible office in Reading. Offering a managed service, they provide to clients all over the UK. They also work heavily in the Security Cleared space.

The Role

As the Network Engineer, you work as part of their Managed Service team designing and implementing solutions for their customer’s Networks. The Network Engineer will also manage all documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure SLAs are met. At the same time, you will be Managed Service Provider continuing to learn and develop your skills with all the latest and great tech.

Network Engineer Overview

• Design and implement solutions for customers networks
• Be a Cisco Evangelist around all technology
• Act as a Senior Escalation point to junior members of the team
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, as the key point of contact
• Ensure SLA’s are met, Documentation is correct, and Policies and procedures are in place

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• Must be eligible for SC Clearance
• Ideally CCNP Certified or working at a CCNP level
• Must have a high level of understanding of Cisco Networks.
• Have experience designing and implementing Cisco solutions
• Be skilled in R+S and with one other technology (ISE, ACI, SDN, FirePOWER)
• Have Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider
• Understand SLA Agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
