A Technology Provider is seeking a Network Engineer – Palo Alto to work out of easily accessible office in Central London. As a Multi-Vendor site, they offer training plans, career plans, and are looking to train and develop an engineer through to a senior position.

About the Network Engineer – Palo Alto role

As the Network Engineer – Palo Alto, you will oversee diagnostics, investigations, and monitoring of the customer’s network. The engineer will also manage all documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure SLA’s are met. At the same time, you will be learning and developing your skills towards projects.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, as the key point of contact
• Be an SME of Palo Alto
• Monitor, investigate, and diagnose any issues with the managed service networks
• Ensure SLA’s are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place

Skills & experience required for the Network Engineer – Palo Alto

• Ideally be Palo Alto certified or working towards it
• Ideally experienced working in a multi vendor environment
• Must have previous experience troubleshooting and fault fixing Cisco and Juniper networks
• Experience monitoring, investigating, and diagnosing issues
• Have experience working for a managed service provider
• Understanding of technologies Such as BGP, OSPF, ASA, LAN
• Understand SLA agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
