The Company

A leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) is looking for a Juniper Network Engineer to work remotely and attend their easily accessible office in Reading for meetings. The Certified Network Engineer will implement, configure, and support both Customers and Internal Staff.

The Role

As a Network Engineer, you must be Certified working with Juniper products, as well as having a good understanding of Cisco.

The Network Engineer must have a strong background in Configuration, Implementation, and Monitoring Core Juniper applications.

Activities

• Working as a technical lead in the 3rd line for both internal and external networks
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting technology problems relating to LAN, WAN, and VLAN’s
• Work alongside the sales team assisting in proof of concept’s and approval activities

Skills / Experience required for the Network Engineer

• Must be Juniper Certified, JNCIS-SP or ENT or above (SP is preferable)
• At least 5 years working on Service Provider Networks
• Must be able to deliver technical information clearly and concisely
• Ideally you will have previous experience engaging the customer face to face
• Ideally Cisco Certifications, CCNA, CCNP
