Network Engineer Role & Responsibilities

As Network Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering high level support, troubleshooting of issues and consultation of next gen solutions to mid enterprise clients. You will work with a variety of technologies, from Cisco Networking, Next-Gen firewalls and Software Defined Networks.

  • Support network solutions as part of the operational team across LAN and Network Security.
  • Speak directly with end user, specifying their needs and providing high tier support.
  • Project support.

 

Skills / Experience required for the Network Engineer:

  • MUST be UK based.
  • 5 years’ experience working in managed services.
  • 5 years experience in design documentation on large enterprise sites.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint or any other Network Security.
  • Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNA and/or CCNP.
  • Have customer liaising experience.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
