Job Title: Network Engineer (Contractor)

Location: Remote / Home Based

Salary: £350 per day

The Company

Due to growth in the team, a large Enterprise site is seeking a Network Engineer to work remotely with site visits to their easily accessible London office. The large enterprise site is a multinational organisation with over 100 sites across the UK and Europe.

About the Network Engineer role

The Network Engineer will be a key part of the support team. You will maintain their networks, monitor the core project team, and act as a senior escalation point to the NOC.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff
• Troubleshoot and configure supporting the core networks
• Support, maintain and assist project deployments
• Act as a senior escalation point to the network operations team
• Working flexibly over the hours the project scheduling/support requires 7 days a week (40hrs per week)

Skills / Experience required for the Network Engineer

• Have previous experience working in 2nd and 3rd line
• Must have a high level of understanding of Cisco networks
• Have experience with Cisco DNA solution
• Be skilled in R+S and with one other technology (ISE, ACI, SDN, FirePOWER)
• Have experience working with Fortinet
• Understand SLA agreements
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff
