Network Engineer

Location: Southport

Salary: £200pd (Outside IR35)

Dynamic Search Solutions are working with a Technology Provider who are looking for a Network Engineer for 3 months, to work onsite at a large enterprise site in the health care industry. As the business is a Cisco Partner you’ll be implementing and supporting some of the latest technology solutions for the business’s clients.

Network Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As the Network Engineer, you will oversee changes and implementations of the customers Network working with a focus on migrating the Network to Cisco Switches. The engineer will also manage all documentation, to ensure SLA’s are met. Your other responsibilities will include:

• Migration to Cisco Switches.
• Patching of new Cisco Switches.
• Test both of the LAN network.
• Complete Documentation.
• Ensure Policies and procedures are in place.
• Ensure SLA’s are met.

Skills / Experience required for the Network Engineer:

• Must have an understanding of Cisco Networks.
• Must have Previous experience patching and configuring switches.
• Have experience working in a customer facing environment.
• Must be able to travel to client site when necessary.
• Understand SLA Agreements.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff.
