The Company

A Leading Broadband Provider is looking for a Network Engineer to be the have a core focus on their Point2Point Connectivity network. This is a remote role; however, you must reside in the UK due to potential site visits.

The Broadband Provider have won multiple awards for their innovative solutions and have supported both Residents and businesses in rural areas with their solutions. This means you will be an integral part in supporting customers all over the UK in improving their daily lives, and by doing this you will be rewarded with lots of training and development to continue growing in your career.

 

Network Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As the Network Engineer you will be the point of contact for all connectivity issues, all project work, and any changes or upgrades that will happen. Meaning you will get to hands on experience with all technologies, continue to learn and grow and help progress your career into Team leadership or Solutions Consultant in the future.

The Network Engineer day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Support the National Project upgrade to the Network.
  • Work on design changes and improvements.
  • Implement and support changes to match with DFS and EIRP Management.
  • Support the field team remotely with a technical work that is needed.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders and the Account Managers passing on any feedback and recommendations to the AV Services.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong Wireless Broadband experience.
  • Must have experience working with Point2Point or Point2multiPoint Connectivity.
  • You have strong knowledge of Bandwidth and Frequency.
  • Must have understanding of OFCOM Requirements.
  • Have experience dealing with not technical staff.
  • Be able to liaise with stakeholders.
