Job Title: Network Engineering Design Manager

Location: Remote / Home based (must be UK based and eligible for SC clearance)

Contract: Inside IR35 £500-£550 per day (Minimum 3 months)

About the Network Engineering Design Manager role

The Network Engineering Design Manager is responsible for the design validation and overseeing the delivery of network documentation across multiple networking technology verticals, including; R&S, WLAN, Security, and Data Centre. You will be a senior project resource working alongside the architecture team to be accountable for design validation and proposal authentication.

• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong knowledge of network design documentation – HLD and LLD
• Network design validation and network CAB – LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security and/or Data Centre (experience with other systems would be useful – CCTV, TP, Systems)
• Strong customer facing experience, with the ability to converse with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Liaise with a team of multi-skilled design engineers
• Opportunity to work with innovative technologies, oversee greenfield projects, and be an integral part of the project lifecycle

Skills & experience required for the Network Engineering Design Manager

• Must be eligible for SC clearance
• You will be able to demonstrate past experience of design validation and design reviews across multiple technologies (preferable networking)
• Reviewing and validating high level (HLD) and low level designs (LLD)
• Acting as a point of escalation for the project sponsor and customer
• Previous experience of working within a fast paced position
• Excellent knowledge of complex digital transformation projects and design documentation
• Fantastic communication skills
• Must be eligible to live and work in the EU
