Job Title: Network Design Engineer

Location: Remote (Must be UK based )

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

MUST be eligible for SC Clearance*

The Company

A leading radio, telecommunications, and internet systems service provider and Cisco Gold Partner are seeking a Network Design Engineer. The company is a fast-growing, industry-leading managed service provider delivering in to large enterprise clients and critical infrastructures.

The Role

The Network Design Engineer will be a key part of the team, with a focus on delivering design documentation for a critical infrastructure project with a multi-sire large enterprise environment. The work with be high and low-level design documentation across large-scale Networks.

Radio Design Lead Overview

• Design network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across LAN and Wireless networks
• Speak directly with end-user, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations

Skills / Experience required for the Network Design Engineer

• MUST be eligible for SC Clearance
• MUST be UK based
• 5 years’ experience working in managed services
• 5 years experience in design documentation on large enterprise sites
• Experience working with Wireless technologies
• Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNP Wireless
• Delivered large scale projects, ran design documentation
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
