Network Consultant

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000

Location: Cheshire, Hybrid and Flexible Working

An award-winning managed and professional service provider is looking for a Network Consultant to lead their Network team on delivering their exceptional level of service to their growing, exciting client base. The company are a fast growing, industry leading managed service provider delivering in to mid and large enterprise clients. You will have a wide variety of clients to work with, with plenty of opportunities to progress in your career.

The business’s primary focus is delivering cutting-edge technologies from Cisco, including SD-Access, SD-WAN and ACI solutions. Meaning you’ll be working with the latest tech on the market and gaining valuable exposure to some career defining software.

You will be supported to work how is best for you, with a flexible and hybrid environment. This is a predominantly home-based role, but you must be commutable to the Cheshire area.

Network Consultant Role and Responsibilities

The Network Consultant will be a key part of the team, split across leading project delivery, designs and customer engagement management. As Network Consultant, you will also:

• Deliver design documentation and delivery of mid to large scale enterprise networking environments.
• Work across project deployments, including design and implementation across complex enterprise network environments and security.
• Design and delivery of Cisco solutions, exposure to software defined networks would be beneficial.
• Design and implement LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team.

Skills / Experience required for the Network Consultant:

The business is committed to supporting you in your pursuit of certifications, and your continuing professional development. The business does ask however that you have:

• 3 years’ + experience working in managed services.
• CCIE, or CCNP Enterprise certification and working towards CCIE.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering Cisco LAN networks, WLAN, ISE, SDA and/or SDWAN solutions.
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation.
• Delivered large scale projects.
• Customer liaising experience.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE would be beneficial.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
