A London based MSP and Microsoft Partner is recruiting for a Microsoft Security Engineer to join their 3rd line support team. Working directly for the Head of Infrastructure and Cloud Services, you will be the lead on their Security offering acting as an SME on all things Security.

About the Microsoft Security Engineer role

As a Security focused Infrastructure Engineer, you will work directly with this MSP’s customers across a variety of different sectors remediating alerts and working with customers to strengthen their Security protocols and secure their systems. You will give recommendations to make environments more secure ensuring that the benefits are customer focused and have a positive impact on their business processes. You will be a Microsoft SME for this business and the focal point for Security related topics with a view to move towards a Senior Security role as the team evolves. This position will require the successful candidate to drive forward the Security policies and take control of service improvement within the Security space.

Overview:

• Demonstrable ability to form effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders
• Microsoft SME
• Good technical understanding of Intune
• Experienced in the Microsoft Cloud stack
• Previous experience of working with Microsoft Security stack
• Previous experience of working with ATP packages
• Experience of working with Sentinel is an advantage although not essential

Skills & experience for the Microsoft Security Engineer

• Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Security stack
• Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft products
• Azure Security Centre
• O365 Secure Score
• Sentinel
• Intune
• Any O365 exams would be preferred although not necessarily required
