The Company

A large global enterprise site is in the process of migrating to the Cloud through Azure. They offer remote working, sit on a Cisco Network, and work with Palo Alto as their firewall.

The Microsoft Azure Consultant role

As a Microsoft Azure Consultant, you will champion the use of Azure for Infrastructure and platform migrations to the Cloud. You will work alongside the 3rd party project team, and the internal engineering team to assist in delivering the migration.

• Microsoft evangelism – act as the in-between for both the internal and 3rd party teams
• Advising staff on Microsoft’s latest products and services
• Assist in the migration to the cloud
• Work with both technical and non-technical staff
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills & experience required for the Microsoft Azure Consultant

• Must have a high-level understanding of Azure
• Previous experience moving on-premise to the Cloud
• Must have a high-level understanding of the Microsoft Stack
• Experience with Cisco Networks
• Experience with Palo Alto
• At least 4 years experience in migrations
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff
• Ideally have Microsoft certifications, however not essential
