Salary: £80,000 – £100,000

Lead Platform Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

As the Lead Platform Engineer, you will join the projects team in overseeing the Architecture, design and build of the new platform. At the same time, you will be learning and developing your skills towards projects and management.

Your additional responsibilities will include:

• Lead the Architecture team to create the designs.
• Lead the build and implementation team.
• Write and script code.
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, as the key point of contact.
• Monitor, investigate, and diagnose any issues with the managed Service servers.
• Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place.

Skills & Experience

The business will support you to work however is best for you, with an efficient onboarding process to help you get stuck into the projects and team you work on. The business does ask that you have:

• Must have UK citizenship and eligible to pass DBS clearance if necessary.
• Previous experience in design and architecting a Private Cloud.
• Experience working on Linux platforms, ideally Redhat.
• Previous experience with KVM is beneficial.
• Strong experience in Automation with tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• A background knowledge of Networking and DNS servers.
