Location: Remote / Home Based

Salary: £90,000 – £120,000 DOE

The company is a fast-growing, industry-leading managed service provider delivering into mid to large enterprise clients. This client specialises in delivering the latest software-defined technologies to a variety of clients. They pride themselves on being the go-to guys for all things SDN.

About the Lead Network Architect role

The Lead Network Architect will be a key part of the Architecture team acting as the most technical resource within the organisation. Acting as TDA (Technical Design Authority) for multiple client engagements. The position is split across leading technical strategy, developing technical proposition, developing technical products, technically leading bids, delivering designs and senior stakeholder management. The right person will deliver unquestionable expert knowledge to customers, working end to end HLD and LLD design documentation.

• Oversee the technical leadership of the organisation, developing solutions and services utilising the latest technologies; ACI, SDA, SD-WAN etc.
• Leading technical engagement with customers, acting as the most senior point of
• Developing technical strategy for the organisation, acting as the most senior
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions to overcome challenges
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team

Skills & experience required for the Lead Network Architect

• 10+ years networking experience working in a managed or professional services organisation
• TDA for multiple customer projects, and act as a senior point of technical escalation
• Extensive experience with Cisco ACI, deploying multiple solutions
• Working at a CCIE level, certifications are preferred however, not essential
• Experience in working with broader technologies, including hyper-converged infrastructure, network virtualisation and or public cloud
• Delivered large scale projects, delivering excellent high and low-level design documentation
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
