Job Title: IT Support Engineer (3rd Line)

Location: Remote

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000

This is an opportunity for a remote based 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a leading Cyber Security consultancy. They are a growing organisation and are looking to expand their infrastructure team. The IT Support Engineer will get the chance to work with the latest technologies from DevOps and Cloud, focusing on delivering the best, most secure solutions to some high-profile clients.

About the 3rd Line Support Engineer role

• As a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer you will provide technical support for servers and networks, as well as:
• Be a senior escalation point
• Supporting ticketing systems
• Liaising with customers and users
• Troubleshooting and configuration

Skills & experience required for the IT Support Engineer

• Open to constantly learning and adapting
• Strong background in troubleshooting, configuring and fault resolution
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in working with Linux
• Virtualisation environment knowledge (preferably VMware)
• A strong understanding of Linux Networking
• Exposure to a cloud environment would be ideal
