The Company

A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking an Infrastructure Team Lead to work remotely in the UK. The MSP has offices all over the global with their headquarters being based in Central London. They have a work hard play hard attitude with multiple incentives to achieve. With a passion to train and develop they will continually look to train and develop their staff with Certifications.

 

The Role

The Infrastructure Team Lead will be a key part of leading the managed service team to support and services the customers infrastructure. The role requires an Infrastructure Support Engineer / Team lead, to have valuable experience working with customers directly, as well as leading teams. The Infrastructure Team Lead will report directly to the Line Manager and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop their skills.

 

Infrastructure Team Lead Overview

  • Your key focus will be to build and monitor customer services, support customer’s, act as an escalation point for other members of the team
  • Lead the Managed Service team including 3rd line in technical requirements, fault fixes, and responses
  • Ensure all SLA’s are met
  • Support the line Manager in appraisals and team focus
  • Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be involved in setting up new services, building new equipment, assisting on configurations, and working in multiple environment

 

Skills / Experience required for the Infrastructure Support Engineer / Team lead

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • Experienced leading teams
  • Strong technical experience in Endpoint management
  • Have experience working SCCM, Autopilot, Intune
  • Experience working with a range of Microsoft technologies including Office365 and Azure,
  • Have experience working with SLA’s
  • Have customer liaising experience
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
  • Ideally be working towards Microsoft Certifications
