The Company

A leading software specialist company is looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to help deliver and manage their internal infrastructure. The client develops a suite of products encompassing CRM systems, back-office systems and online database systems. They have their own Data Centre with managed connectivity, providing their own hosted environment.

About the Infrastructure Support Engineer role

The Infrastructure Support Engineer will be a key part of the team, focusing directly on support and troubleshooting of Infrastructure Technologies. The right person will be able to troubleshoot issues across Windows Servers, SQL Databases and other Microsoft OS technologies.

• Support and troubleshoot Infrastructure solutions directly for internal and external users
• Manage incoming support tickets, whilst also working proactively
• Provide regular professional, frequent and relevant user communication
• Deliver support and troubleshooting issues across Microsoft OS, Servers, Virtualisation, SQL Databases

Skills & experience required for the Infrastructure Support Engineer

• 2 years experience working in an Infrastructure Support based role
• Experience working with Windows Server, SQL and Microsoft OS
• 1st to 2nd line infrastructure experience
• Strong SQL server experience or understanding
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
