Job Title: Infrastructure Manager

Location: London

Salary: £33,000 – £38,000

The Company

A growing managed service provider is looking to bring in an Infrastructure Manager to manage and lead a team of 4 support engineers. They are a growing company, who focus their work on SME and large enterprise customers across the UK. Working with multiple technologies, they focus on supporting Infrastructure and Cloud products.

About the Infrastructure Manager role

The Infrastructure Manager will be a key part of the team. They will manage the support engineers and be the direct contact liaison between the client and their customers. The role will include being a 3rd line escalation point, proactive and reactive support and overall running and management of remote, 1st line, 2nd line and onsite engineers.

• The primary focus will be to manage the support team
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting users at all levels, troubleshooting and fixing issues
• Be a 3rd line escalation point when required

Skills & experience required for the Infrastructure Manager

• Team management
• Desktop Support
• Software Support
• Installation and fault resolution, deployment and management
• Experience working with Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience in working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Have a good understanding of Windows Server and Office 365
• Experience in bespoke applications, desktop, mobile, laptop support would be beneficial
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
