The Company

A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely in the UK. The MSP has offices all over the globe with its headquarters being based in Central London. They have a work hard play hard attitude with multiple incentives to achieve. With a passion to train and develop they will continually look to train and develop their staff with Certifications.

 

The Role

The Infrastructure Engineer will be a key part of leading the managed service team to support and service the customer’s infrastructure. The role requires an Infrastructure Engineer, to have valuable experience working with customers directly. The Infrastructure Engineer will report directly to the Team lead and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop their skills.

 

Infrastructure Engineer Overview

  • Your key focus will be to as a 3rd line engineer monitoring, upgrading, patching, and configuring the customers End-user devices
  • You will be integral ins supporting customer services, as well as acting as an escalation point for other members of the team
  • It is important that you ensure all SLA’s are met
  • Support the technical lead with proposals and change requests
  • Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will be involved in setting up new services, building new equipment, assisting on configurations, and working in multiple environments

 

Skills / Experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • Experienced working in 3rd line
  • Strong technical experience in Endpoint management
  • Have experience working SCCM, Autopilot, Intune
  • Experience working with a range of Microsoft technologies including Office365 and Azure,
  • Have experience working with SLA’s
  • Have customer liaising experience
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Ideally be working towards Microsoft Certifications
