The Company

An Infrastructure Engineer is required for an organization that leads the way in providing data management systems for renowned companies such as United Utilities, Royal Mail, and the NHS. They are actively transitioning to modern working practices, leveraging cloud services and implementing DevOps. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work remotely with occasional site visits for maintenance checks.

 

Role & Responsibilities

The role offers experience in multiple technologies, exposure to projects, and gives you the opportunities to grow and develop your skills across, on-prem, Cloud, and Security products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical escalations and project implementations within the internal team.
  • Gain hands-on experience with multiple technologies, working on projects and developing your skills in on-premises, cloud, and security solutions.
  • Maintain, update, and enhance systems.
  • Build and configure new PCs, servers, and network devices to meet specifications.
  • Provide technical support to both technical and non-technical staff, offering remote and office-based assistance.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Stack.
  • Proficient in working with Azure.
  • Strong background in Windows Servers.
  • Previous involvement with networks and servers.
  • Familiarity with firewalls.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel.
