Salary: Up to £50,000

 

The Company

A business that is leading the way in providing data management systems is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer, to work on some of their biggest client accounts. The business works with some of the biggest household names in the UK, such as United Utilities, Royal Mail and the NHS.

They have just embarked on a real push into modern-day working by advancing their services to the cloud and implementing DevOps into the business. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, with only 1 day a fortnight going to site to complete maintenance checks.

 

Infrastructure Engineer Role and Responsibilities

You will act as a senior point of contact for all technical escalations and project implementations for all internal team. The role comes with hands-on experience in multiple technologies, exposure to projects, and the opportunities to grow and develop your skills across, on-prem, Cloud, and Security products.

  • Maintain systems, updating, adding to, and improving.
  • Build, and configure new PCs, servers, and network devices to required specifications.
  • Your key focus is to provide technical support whenever required.
  • Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting both remotely and from the office.

 

Skills & Experience

This is a largely remote role, with only 1 day and the business will support you to work however is best for you. The business does however ask that you have:

  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Stack.
  • That you’re experience with Office 365.
  • Experience working with VPNS.
  • Previous experience working in Networks and Servers.
  • Experience working with Firewalls.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff.
