Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider that delivers end-to-end solutions across multiple technical stacks. Ranging from enterprise infrastructures, storage, building and delivering new virtual environments and a fully managed service portfolio. They support mid to large enterprise companies, from councils, universities, schools, and large office spaces.

About the Infrastructure Engineer role

The Infrastructure Engineer will be a key part of the team, primarily focusing on support and implementation. The right person will have extensive experience in installing and delivering infrastructure solutions across SME and large enterprise sites, working with VMware, Cisco, Storage technologies, O365, and Servers.

• 3rd Line Support
• Install/implement infrastructure solutions directly and alongside operational teams across virtual environments
• Deal with clients directly, identifying their needs and providing solutions
• Collaborate with consulting and architecture teams
• Delivery of Storage, O365, Server and VDI
• Run workshops with Junior members of the team
• Work as an escalation point if needed and technical lead during incident management, providing training to junior staff

Skills & experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer

• 5+ years experience working in an MSP or ISP environment
• Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent certified
• Experience working with mid to large enterprise environments
• Experienced delivering projects and solutions (including on-site installs)
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
