A global and industry-leading food company are looking for a Head of SAP to join the business and take control of their SAP team. While based in Mainz, the business has a team spread around the globe: Meaning you will have the opportunity to work on international projects with other SAP teams.

Due to growth within the SAP team, the company are now looking to make huge investments in their systems and employees. And as the new Head of SAP, you will play a crucial, role in leading the ongoing development of their team and SAP systems.

You will be supported to work in a hybrid and flexible manner, with only two days a week in the Mainz office necessary. The business is flexible on your working environment and are eager to work with you.

 

Head of SAP Role and Responsibilities:

The business is committed to supporting you to work how is best for you, as you lead the SAP team and development of the SAP systems. Your new role will also include:

  • Leading and owning global SAP Service Management and SAP Operations.
  • Leading the Global SAP Competence Team; both from a functional and people management point of view.
  • Managing external partners.
  • Managing the budget and forecasting the future of SAP Services.
  • Developing further SAP Strategy for the business, including a HANA Roadmap and consulting on the Architecture.
  • Contributing to global IT service improvements.
  • Working proactively to drive alignment across stakeholders.

 

Skills and Experience Required for the Head of SAP Role:

The business will help you to continue your professional development and remain as a leader and an authority in SAP. The business does however ask that you have:

  • Solid experience in SAP.
  • Experience in Service and Operations Management.
  • Experience in Partner Management.
  • Working in and leading diverse teams on an international and remote basis – desirable but not essential.
  • People management skills.
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written communications).
