The Company

An award-winning Cisco and Microsoft Partner are looking for a Head of Sales to join their fast-growing, industry-leading managed service and managed service security provider.

The business offers a variety of technical services across multiple technologies, and primarily delivers into mid and large-scale enterprise clients. Your role will be crucial in driving the next stage in the company’s growth strategy, as you drive sales and new business acquisitions across the Sales team.

You will work closely with and be supported by the Sales and Marketing Director, to lead the company in identifying and acquiring new business and sales opportunities.

 

Head of Sales Role & Responsibilities

As Head of Sales your responsibility will be to drive new business sales across mid to large enterprise sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the Sales team.
  • Identify opportunities for new business and take all necessary steps regarding due diligence etc.
  • Take the lead on negotiations, completing new sales and business acquisition deals.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, from target companies and throughout your wider network.
  • Collaborate with other teams when necessary, to successfully complete sales.

 

As the Head of Sales, you will have:

  • New business sales experience, with a strong record of successful deal completions.
  • Strong experience working within an IT services business is essential for this role.
  • Previous technical experience with Cisco and Fortinet systems.
  • Previous experience working in sales in a Managed Service business.
  • A passion for delivering customer excellence.
  • You will have previous experience of conversing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, being able to complete complex sales opportunities and overcome any problems that arise.
