Job Title: Head of Presales

Location: Manchester

Salary: £65,000 – £85,000

About the Head of Presales role

To be fully accountable for the day-to-day management of a team of skilled Presales Solutions Architects. The team will respond to RFI’s and RFP’s by completing detailed tender and design documentation. These solutions will have critical business impact to their clients.

The Presales Manager’s responsibility is to lead a team of up to 10 Solutions Architects, ensuring that bids are of required quality whilst covering all key areas of the RFI.

You will have excellent management and employee development skills as well as pride yourself on delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Skills & experience for the Head of Presales

• Experience in leading a team of Presales Engineer’s / Solutions Architects
• Excellent understanding of IT Service or IT Managed Services, or Network Services
• Experience with tender or bid responses (£100k – £10m)
• Strong written and documentation skills
• Ability to motivate a team
• Strong Leadership qualities
• Track record of managing successful Presales teams
• Strong commercial understanding
• Strong Process Management
• Excellent communication skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
