A leading family business with headquarters in the Allgäu region, known for our expertise in manufacturing dairy specialties is looking for an SAP ABAP Consultant Developer to join their team on a hybrid/ remote and flexible basis.

As one of the most successful corporate groups in the German dairy industry, the business now distributes to approximately 50 dairy specialties in over 55 countries. The dedicated team of around 1,200 employees plays a crucial role in contributing to the company’s achievements.

As Head of IT Business Consulting, your role and responsibilities will include:

• You will manage the Business Application or Business Process Consulting department, taking on both disciplinary and technical responsibility.
• The department oversees various business processes and their associated business applications within our group of companies, and you will be in charge of their technical and organizational development.
• Contract and license management, including negotiations and design.
• Expanding and developing your Competence Center team and promoting their satisfaction, along with that of users.
• Leveraging your expertise as a project manager or software architect, you will monitor the release planning of SAP projects, including creating decision templates and project or upgrade plans.
• Act as an internal point of contact for SAP, handling license questions, services, support, projects, and more.
• Transferring knowledge to key users and responsible parties, and potentially certifying your team as a SAP COE (SAP Center of Excellence), will also be part of your responsibilities. You will also commission and monitor SAP system measurements and license audits.

Your skills and experience should include:

• A degree in (business) informatics or equivalent training, along with several years of professional experience in managing complex IT projects and leading an IT team.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP (ECC, S4/HANA, HCM, Concur, SF, MII, EWM, GTS, TM, IBP, MDG, etc.).
• A solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on mentality when needed.
