The Company

A leading international brand with over 200,000 employees globally and a global sales of over £100 Billion is looking for an ERP Solutions Consultant to join their team. You will work on improving the existing solution with a view of transforming into a fully integrated SAP Solution.

ERP Solutions Consultant (Supply Chain Management) Role

As an ERP Solutions Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for the technical and functional operations of all systems within the application landscape and the identification, specification, and delivery of solutions to meet business requirements.

Additionally, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Consultation with functional departments to ensure that system capabilities are utilised and required functional enhancements.
• Identify and capture business processes that can be improved through existing or new solutions and create solution proposals.
• Create specifications for system changes and coordinate with internal development, International IT, or external solutions providers on their implementation.
• Ensure that those using the solutions provided have the necessary skill levels.
• Participate in and run projects on an international scale.
• Applying, integrating, and complying with international standards.
• Actively participates in proactive investigations and discussions with functional departments relating to Master Data Management.
• Manage the ongoing change, release and test management of systems and processes together with functional departments.
• Provide a level of IT support and incident management to supported systems.
• Optimisation of business processes.

Skills and Experience required for ERP Solutions Consultant (SCM)

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes.
• Knowledge of C# or similar programming language.
• Systems utilised are both Oracle and SAP.
• Part of the process is to phase out a bespoke Oracle solution and introduce SAP.
• System knowledge in either would be nice.
• ERP experience.
• ITIL certified or working knowledge.
• Stakeholder management.
