Enterprise Network Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities

The Enterprise Network Security Engineer will be a key part of the team, split across leading project delivery, designs and stakeholder management. The right person will deliver planning of mid to large scale enterprise networking environments, working across project deployments, including design and implementation across complex Next-Gen Firewalls, LAN, and WLAN.

  • Design and delivery of Cisco Security solutions, exposure to multiple Cisco solutions is ideal.
  • Design and implement LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.
  • Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team.

 

Skills and Experience required for the Enterprise Network Security Engineer:

  • 3 years’ + experience working in managed services.
  • CCNP Security Certified is imperative.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering Cisco ASA, and FirePOWER solutions including FTD and FMC.
  • Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation.
  • Delivered large scale projects.
  • Customer liaising experience.
  • Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE would be beneficial.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
