The Company

We’re hiring a DNS and Linux Engineer to work remotely in the UK for a Technology Provider. Due to the works they provide they require the person to be a UK resident. They offer a training plan, career plans, and are looking to train and develop an engineer through to a senior position.

DNS and Linux Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

As the DNS and Linux Engineer, you will oversee diagnostics, investigations, and monitoring of the customers servers. The engineer will also manage all documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure SLA’s are met. At the same time, you will be learning and developing your skills towards projects.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, as the key point of contact.
• Monitor, investigate, and diagnose any issues with the managed Service servers.
• Ensure SLA’s are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place.

Skills & Experience

• Must have UK citizenship.
• Must have experience with DNS Servers.
• Must have Previous experience monitoring, investigating, and diagnosing issues with Servers.
• Have experience working with Linux Servers.
• Understanding of DNS Security.
• Have an understanding of Networks.
• Understand SLA Agreements.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical, and non-technical staff.
