DevSecOps Engineer

Salary – £80,000

Location: Remote (Must reside within the UK)

As a DevSecOps Engineer you will be the SME for coding and automating the network Infrastructure as well as writing and coding API’s to manage and secure the system. Together you will train and develop your skills in Development security space, overseeing all the operational development and lead the company in Security.

This is a completely remote role, you will have the comfort to work from your own home, as you see fit: You must however, be based in the UK.

The DevSecOps Engineer

You will lead the project around automation. Be the point of contract for any coding requirements. Offer expect knowledge and assist in writing and building the Infrastructure code. You core focus will be to advance in the security space and help to build out their security practice.

Day-to-day tasks include:

• Working with the network and infrastructure teams to help build the public cloud platform
• Act as the SME for automation
• Build the infrastructure in Terraform
• Build and develop API’s
• Review and advise on Security
• Write and Script in Python
• Work with other automation tools like Ansible

DevSecOps Engineer Skills and requirements:

• Must have experience in previously building public cloud platforms with Azure or AWS
• Have strong coding experience
• Must previously of built APIs at s production level
• Have experience building in Terraform
• Have experience writing in Python
• Have a passion to advance in DevSec
• Have knowledge of Security
• Be able to demonstrable experience in forming effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
• Must be based in the UK
