Location: UK Based Remote

Salary: £450 per day

Status: Inside IR35

A DevOps Engineer is required for an organisation in Liverpool that are leading the way in providing data management systems for some of the country’s biggest household names such as United Utilities, Royal Mail, and the NHS. They have just embarked on a real push into modern-day development and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help pave the way!

About the DevOps Engineer role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing agile development team responsible for the full development life cycle of cutting-edge, greenfield projects. They will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software, testing, and writing automated tests along the way.

• Be the technical lead for DevOps
• Work with the Business Systems team to create a DevOps strategy
• To implement and maintain zero downtime deployments
• Work with the Solutions Architect and Lead Developers to move towards full CICD
• Work with the QA and development teams
• Adhering to Test Driven Development methodology

Skills & experience required for the DevOps Engineer

• Must be an experienced DevOps Engineer
• A strong full-stack background is essential
• Experience of Azure and Azure DevOps
• Experienced with migrating software to the cloud
• Experience working with CI/CD
• Full development lifecycle of greenfield solutions
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React and/or Vue JS)
• An advocate of Agile development
