About the Data Centre Solutions Architect role

The Data Centre Solutions Architect specialises in the design and architecture of data centre virtualisation and storage solutions with a particular focus on industry-leading VMware, Dell/EMC and Microsoft products. This will be an opportunity to work and deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions to a variety of companies.

Skills & experience for the Data Centre Solutions Architect 

• Virtualisation experience, VMware experience essential – VMware vCentre, vCloud
• Knowledge in one of the following Hyper-converged technologies VxRail, vSAN or Hyperflex
• Desirable experience with Horizon View
• Storage knowledge, one or more of the following HP, NetApp, Dell / EMC
• Customer facing Presales
• Bid or Tender writing
• Data Centre design
• Deliver customer workshops
• Desirable experience with Azure, AWS, DC Networking and Compute (not essential)
• Strong Written and Documentation skills
• Experienced in one or more of the previous technologies mentioned
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing design and Presales role
• RFP or RFI experience
• Must be eligible to live and work in the EU
• Must be eligible for security clearance
