Job Title: Cloud Consultant

Location: Remote

Salary: £65,000 + package

Applicants must be based in the North of England (Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester)

They offer fully managed services, across Cloud, Infrastructure, Hyper-Converged Infrastructures and Enterprise Networks. With accreditations and partnerships across Microsoft, they lead the way in managed service solutions.

 

About the Cloud Consultant role

As a Cloud Consultant, you will champion the use of a variety of technologies, with a primary focus on working across Azure Cloud Consultation. This is a Principal role, prioritising an understanding of customer needs, designing solutions and responding to RFI’s, RFP’s. This is an exciting, new opportunity within the business with the potential to lead the cloud practice in the near future.

  • Design solutions and services across Azure, Intune, Office 365
  • Customer-facing, specifying customer needs and providing a solution
  • Advising customers on Microsoft, Azure, PaaS and IaaS
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market
  • Sizing of existing systems, proposing the right solutions and pulling accurate costing
  • Responding to RFI and RFP tenders
  • Delivering PoC and SoW’s

 

Skills & experience required for the Cloud Consultant

  • MUST be UK based, ideally the North of England
  • Minimum 5 years experience in working across cloud technologies from a customer consultation, design, project of delivery perspective
  • Strong documentation and customer-facing skills
  • Experience with O365, Cloud and Virtual Environments
  • IaaS and PaaS proven experience
  • Microsoft Azure certifications ideal
  • Have customer liaising experience
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
