Salary: £80,000 – £110,000

About the Cloud Architect role

The Cloud Architect specialises in the design and architecture of Cloud Services and leading the development of the companies cloud offering. A strong background in virtualisation and storage solutions with a particular focus on industry-leading VMware, Dell/EMC is beneficial. However, this role will not only continue to develop their traditional Data Centre offering but support the leadership team with their go to market strategy around cloud services.

This will be an opportunity to work on and deliver cutting-edge infrastructure solutions to a variety of companies, whilst having a true evangelist approach to all things Cloud.

Your experience:

• Broad knowledge of cloud services – Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
• Product development
• Knowledge in one of the following Hyper-converged technologies: VxRail, vSAN or Hyperflex
• Virtualisation experience
• VMware experience essential – VMware vCentre, vCloud
• Desirable experience with VDI infrastructure
• Customer facing Presales
• Bid or Tender writing
• Data Centre design
• Deliver customer workshops
• Strong written and documentation skills

Skills & experience required for the Cloud Architect

• Strong technical leadership experience
• Ability to engage with Senior stakeholders
• Good referencable experience in the Cloud Services area
• Experienced in one or more of the previous technologies mentioned
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing design and Presales role
• RFP or RFI experience
• Must be eligible to live and work in the EU
• Must be eligible for security clearance
