Location: Manchester Based with Travel to Customer Site

An exciting, well-established, and still growing on prem infrastructure and cloud specialised managed service provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their highly skilled sales team based in Manchester.

The business is a partner of many of the top tech vendors including: Microsoft, VMWare, Veeam, Cisco and Fortinet. Meaning you’ll be selling some of the latest technologies on the market, making your job that much easier.

The business has a strong, pre-existing team and an already high turnover, and are looking to expand their Manchester office. The business is focused on selling in to mid to large clients, predominantly in the private sector. They pride themselves on their enthusiasm about technology and customer service and have an experienced team of industry specialists.


Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities

The business is looking for someone who is well connected within the industry to help continue to grow the company and explore new business opportunities. You will be trusted with existing accounts to manage and grow from the get-go, before making the move to new client acquisitions.

You will have the opportunity to be selling some of the most exciting and cutting-edge technologies within the IT industry as you grow your own network of clients.


Skills and Experience Required for the Business Development Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Sales.
  • Experience selling Cloud solutions such as Office365, Azure, AWS, VMWare etc.
  • Experience of selling in to the private sector is ideal.
  • You will ideally be be well connected within the industry, with a pre-existing network to work with.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
