Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + 12% Commission on GP

 

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing MSP based in The North East. In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the company’s growth in the market.

As a key player in the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business leads, managing the sales cycle from start to finish, and ensuring that new clients are onboarded successfully. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a new business environment and wants to be rewarded for their performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the managed services sector.
  • Selling Managed Services in to enterprise clients predominantly Cyber Security Services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with new clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with internal teams to tailor solutions and meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve business goals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to drive lead generation and brand awareness.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, within the MSP or technology services sector.
  • Strong track record of generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
