A UK, IT Managed Service Provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their highly skilled sales team on a remote basis. The business has a strong, pre-existing team and an already high turnover, and are looking to expand the sales team to help the business grow.

The business is a partner of many of the top tech vendors including: Microsoft, VMWare, Veeam, Cisco, BT, Dell, and Fortinet: Meaning you’ll be selling some of the latest technologies and the highest quality of services on the market, making your job that much easier.

The business prides themselves on creating a work environment where people are supported to learn, thrive, and grow. You will be supported to work however suits you best in a remote environment as the more successful you are, the more the business grows.

 

Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities

The business is looking for someone to hit the ground running, who has an established network within the industry to help continue to grow the company and explore new business opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to be selling some of the most exciting and cutting-edge technologies within the IT industry as you grow your own network of clients.

You will be predominantly focused on new business sales within the public and private sector. You’ll be in charge of your own accounts, your own diary, and your own commission. This position comes with huge opportunity for growth and to build your own large account base.

 

Skills and Experience Required for the Business Development Manager:

  • Strong experience in IT Sales.
  • Experience selling across a wide range of IT and Networking services and solutions: such as Microsoft, Infrastructure, Dell, Cyber Security, Network, Network Security etc.
  • Experience of selling into both the public and private sector is ideal.
  • You will ideally be well connected within the industry, with a pre-existing network to work with.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
