Salary: £40,000

Location: Gloucester – On a Key Customer Site


The Company

An Audio-Visual Solutions Provider is looking for an AV Technician to work on key customer site in Gloucester. The Solutions Provider have won multiple awards from AV Awards and Technology Excellence awards. This means you will get exposure to state of the art technologies, lots of training and development as well as the benefit of being onsite with a key customer, working in one of the largest Enterprise sites in the UK.

Being the key focal point on to the customer means the AV Technician will be the point of contact for all technical issues, all project work, and any changes or upgrades that will happen. In this role you will get hands on experience with new technologies, as well as continuous support to learn and develop your skills with a view to progress your career into Team leadership or Solutions Consultant in the future.

This is a great chance for someone to own their own site in one of the largest Enterprise sites in the UK. You will get lots of hands-on experience working with the latest technologies available and will be supported with training and development to help advance your career.


AV Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Providing onsite support to all AV Services.
  • Work on changes, upgrades, and deployments of the AV equipment.
  • Complete testing in the training rooms and meeting rooms.
  • Utilize the ticketing system to ensure all issues are logged and dealt with.
  • Support the onsite team with any technical work that is needed.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and the account managers, passing on any feedback and recommendations to the AV Services.


AV Technician Key Skills:

  • Strong AV experience across Teams, Crestron, Cisco, and Dante.
  • Experience in Meeting room set ups and live events.
  • Experience in customer services.
  • Have experience dealing with non-technical staff.
  • Be able to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Have a passion to deliver a good service to the client.
  • Any understanding of ITIL methodologies would be a plus.
  • Be strong in organising and planning works.
