An Audio-Visual Reseller is seeking an AV Field Engineer to work on multiple customers sites across London. The Reseller work with state-of-the-art technology, on some of the most exciting Enterprise sites in the London. AV Field Engineer Role Overview

As the businesses new AV Field Engineer, you will be a key part of the team acting as the face of the company, to resolve AV issues for their customers. As the AV Field Engineer, you will have a good understanding of documentation, systems checking and supporting customers directly, and be capable of managing your own workload. Your additional responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with the customer to understand client issues.
• Speak with the service desk to understand the ticket.
• Use your expertise to solve the issues or escalate where necessary.
• Full System Checks are carried out and documented.
• Make sure maintenance guidelines are followed, this can include replacing air flow filters and documenting equipment usage hours where possible.
• Backups of system configuration files and program codes are collected as a precautionary measure.
• Work closely with and be supported by the Service Manager with your work.
• Due to the nature of the client, you will work in the field across client sites in London: You will however be supported with travel expenses and a Van when required.

Skills and Experience Required for the AV Field Engineer Role

• Proven experience in AV Equipment.

• Working knowledge of AV equipment like Creston, Q-SYS, Zoom and Teams.
• Previous Managed Service or integration experience.

• Experience working with documentation and maintenance guides.
• Ability to manage and develop customer relationships within the commercial space.
• A confident communicator, working with stakeholders and team members regularly.
